Hudson Bay is a large body of saltwater that borders the Canadian provinces of Quebec, Ontario, and Manitoba, and the territory of Nunavut. It drains further into Alberta, Saskatchewan and areas of the Northern United States.
Resources flow naturally from Hudson Bay through the Hudson Straight to the Atlantic Ocean. We likened this flow of resources to the flow of Tense Watch’s study and use of natural materials. When we started designing and building watches in 1971, we worked with metal while we practiced and perfected our use of wood. Once our wood working skills were perfected, we completely focused on wood to make the wood watches you now know and trust.
Today, we combine our metal working past with our wood working present to offer a new model in our Hybrid Series.
We are very excited to introduce the Hudson Watch.
The Hudson is the first watch in the Hybrid Series to combine wood and stainless steel on the dial and strap. As Hudson Bay flows through Hudson Straight into the Atlantic Ocean, Tense Watches flows from metal to wood to reach our final destination where metal and wood are married.
